About Miche'l
Hi, I’m Michel, a Psychotherapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and the founder of MEnU Therapeutic Services. Since I can remember, I’ve been deeply interested in the lives of others—their stories, their inner worlds, and what helps people live with more intention, peace, and purpose.
Many of my clients are capable, responsible, and outwardly “fine”—yet internally feel anxious, exhausted, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. I provide depth-oriented therapy for adolescents and adults who want more than surface-level coping. This is a space to make sense of your inner world, understand long-standing patterns, and build a more connected relationship with yourself.
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. My professional background is rooted in community mental health and personal development. I’ve served diverse communities across government, healthcare, and privatr annonprofit settings. Along the way, I also experienced the impact of supportive educators and mental health professionals in my own life—support that helped guide me toward deeper self-understanding and learning how to access the inner healer within. That experience strengthened my dedication to walking alongside others in their healing and growth.
What Therapy Is Like With Me
My style is collaborative and reflective. I’ll help you slow down, name what’s happening, and connect the dots—without judgment and without rushing your process. We’ll build practical tools for the present while also exploring the roots beneath the pain, stress, or stuckness.
The Meaning of MEnU
MEnU is rooted in the Mayan philosophy of In Lak’ech—“you are my other me”—and the meaning ME IN YOU. This philosophy shapes my belief that healing grows through understanding, compassion, and connection. I also believe we each carry a “menu” of past and present experiences that influence how we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through life. Therapy is a space to explore those experiences with care, expand your options, and make intentional choices moving forward.
